Legal Counsel

As General Counsel, Oscar is responsible for managing and advising Turistica Advisors on legal issues and corporate governance matters.

His expertise is governed within general law for the entire country of Mexico; however, his expertise is highly recognized specifically in the real estate community.

Before joining Turistica Advisors, Oscar held senior director’s positions within both Homex (HXM) and Stewart Title Latin America (STLA), which are both international companies.

Most recently he was the Director of Legal within the tourist division of Homex, where he managed corporate legal affairs, development and legal operations. Previously, he was the Regional General Manager for Stewart Title Latin America, a leading provider of escrow, title and closing services.
